Spring Summer 2010 Fashion Forecast

Well, we all know it’s heading straight into the spring summer season with all the greatest names releasing their latest collections – and boy don’t we have an exquisite range of styles and trends to choose from. Whoever said that fashion is all the same?
Soft Neutrals
Common throughout most of the collections is the strong essence of neutral, warm, green tones with a focus on python and tan accessories.
70 Styles
We all know that fashion goes in circles and this season we are reviving the 70s look.    But, just before you go straight to the opp shops looking for those flairs and wild colours take note of the slight variation in style. This season it is all about the correct cut and style of those beautiful leg lengthening flairs. Make sure when you go looking for a pair to ensure it is well tailored and has nice form. Tweed and or a loopy knit are a nice place to start.  Complete your look with a thin elegant waist belt.
Colourful Prints
We really do have so much to choose from this season, from neutrals when you are feeling like something soft to outrageous prints when you feel like making a statement.  Colourful and chaotic prints are sure to bring out the wild side in most woman and splash a bit of vibrancy through the industry (which has been dominated by greys and neutrals for quite some time).
Keeping things simple
The greatest key to this season is keeping this simple. You have all heard of the KISS theory (Keep it Simple Stupid) well, it could never be more apparent than in the styles that are coming through this season. Whether it be soft neutrals or bright vibrant tribal prints you are going for, keep the clothes as the main attraction and complement it with soft accessories that enhance the colours you are wearing.
So whatever your style this season, soft neutrals or vibrant colourful prints, wear it with confidence.
Signing off until next time,
